School Calendar of Events
Grace Episcopal School Calendar of Events consist of a variety of fun events for our families to socialize with other parents, church members, and school staff.
FAMILY FUN NIGHTS
We encourage FUN by sponsoring family-oriented activities throughout the year. An EVENTS CALENDAR is available so you can align your schedule to participate in the community of Grace. You have an opportunity to visit with the families of those your children talk about at the end of their day. Just good old-fashioned fun for no particular reason … except that you’re part of the Grace Family!
During the school year we have a few fun events planned to help raise funds in support of the church and school. Funds will be used towards technology in the classrooms, library books, enrichment materials and equipment/grounds updates to enhance our children’s experience here at Grace. On campus we have our Fall Festival, Spring Silent Auction and Art Show, and the Scholastic Book Fair. Away from campus we have several School Spirit Nights at various restaurants. The restaurants give the school a percentage of each purchase at the end of the event. We also have enrolled in the programs that give funds back to schools Fundraiser While You Shop with Amazon Smile, Kroger’s Community Rewards Program, Randall’s Good Neighborhood Program, and Office Depot / Office Max.
If you know of any other companies that have a “give back to schools” program, please let us know so we may add them to the list!
ONSITE EVENTS / SPECIAL VISITORS
All though we do not do off-site field trips, we do bring in onsite visitors for our children to partake in. Parents will be notified in advance in the schools monthly newsletter and email reminders are involved. Event notice will be posted at least 48 hours in advance near each classroom and main entrance door. Permission slips are required for each child to be able to participate in any event that in not in a gated area (example: fire truck visit) and for pets /animals that will be present on the premises. Documentation of vaccinations and a statement of health from a local veterinarian will be required.
