Welcome to Grace Episcopal School
At Grace, we serve children from infants (six weeks old) to Pre-K (5). We welcome children of all races, creeds, and ethnic backgrounds, and have been filling a need in the Texas Medical Center/Reliant area for working parents looking for a nurturing place to leave their children during work hours. I constantly hear from parents about how pleased they are to be able to leave their child in a daycare that has such a loving and encouraging staff. As you walk through each classroom, I hope you can feel the spirit of happy children abounding as they move through their play. We have adopted a literacy awareness custom of attaching index cards to just about every surface in our classrooms so that children, even young ones, can begin to recognize all different types of literacy.
I am thrilled when parents recommend Grace Episcopal Day School to friends and relatives. We love to have grandparents and aunts and uncles stop by for a peek at their little ones in action. And most of all, I love when former students come back for visits. That, to me, means they had a wonderful experience at Grace Episcopal, and what can be better than that?
Religious Instructions:
Grace Episcopal School is a part of Grace Episcopal Church and operates with the philosophy that like adults, children also have spiritual needs. Ages 2-4 share weekly Tuesday chapel (10:00 a.m.) Families are welcome to join us and share in the spirit of the Lord as celebrated through the spirit of a child. Our children say grace before meals We share our faith with the children by celebrating specific religious holidays, by reading Bible stories and parables, and by talking honestly to the children when asked for more information. We try to keep parents informed and invite them to expand these conversations in their family settings.
